Young returned to Los Angeles where she landed the roles of Cathy Metsker, Mel Gibson Madeleine Stowe & Greg Kinnear's We Were Soldiers; and Rachel for JJ Abrams Mission Impossible: 3 with Tom Cruise & Keri russe. Next, in 2016 she appeared alongside Jim Rash and David Koechner as a supporting character in the film that was made by an independent filmmaker Bernard and Huey. Live-action Disney adaptation of A Wrinkle in Time, that starred Oprah Winfrey Reese Witherspoon Mindy Kaing and Reese Witherspoon, in 2018, was her first significant performance.
