She boycotted school and made a sign that read 'School Strike For Climate and calmly was seated outside of the Swedish Parliament. She wanted to persuade politicians to do something about climate change. Swedish media reported Thunbergs protests and pushed the news. In the following days, a plethora of students around the globe joined the #FridaysforFuture strike, which saw students skip school on Fridays in protest of climate change. Global climate activists joined forces in the year 2019 to organize for the Global Strike for Climate. It was a huge success. 1.6 million people across more than 125 countries took part.

Nia peeples is born Virenia Gwendolyn. She is an American performer and a singer. Her best-known work was the role of Pam Fields in the Drama Pretty Little Liars and Nicole Chapman in the television show Fame.
