April Lockhart
April Lockhart, born in 1995 on July 4th July, started taking guitar and piano lessons at age seven. The passion for creating songs was sparked. When she was 12 years old, April composed her first single Different. At the age of 14, April devoted a great deal of her time writing song ideas and practicing her musical skills. Then, she began to take trips across NY and LA along with her dad so that they could both compose songs. April started to include other subjects in the book, Take My Hand, for her friends who were dealing in the face of peer pressure, disability or suicide. Lockhart has become a sought-after lifestyle influencer, as well as working in partnerships with clean beauty brands Ilia, has built a large following. Lockhart was born with no left hand. It's part of her story, but it's hardly her whole story. Lockhart's Instagram profile doesn't conceal her handicap, but it doesn't concentrate solely on it. What message is it sending? The message is: We all have numerous identities. We're much way more diverse than we think that we're. It's not my intention to let that determine me. I do not intend to become an influencer where that's all I discuss because there are so many other elements to me Lockhart states in video form from her house in Nashville. This doesn't have any effect on my daily life. I conduct things normally, and I've discovered my own way to adjust things. It's also part of me so I think that it's crucial to speak about. Her journey to self-acceptance will be one that lasts for a long time, and she can be a role model in this regard. She still admits having gone through a few phases in her body, and felt insecure at times to wear outfits that showcased the arms of her. The woman now puts on whatever clothes she wants and posts pictures on Facebook in awe. She says that self-love is a process. I'm not sure if you'll ever reach the point of no return. It's a journey, I don't think you ever arrive. It's essential to have those in your life who know and understand your situation. They will be the ones who ask your: What are you fret about?
