Stevenson is American and has Mexican-American heritage. Since she was a child she's always had a strong desire to participate in sports. Gerina was a golfer for the first time at age 15. Gerina attended Goddard High School. She won at the New Mexico State Golf Tournament during her time in high school. A volleyball player, she participated in state championships. She enrolled in Texas's University of Texas, Texas in the academic year. She took home all the tournaments she played in during her senior years. While in her undergrad seasons, she won as the conference's best player of year, as well as UTEP's Female Athletic of the Year.

Leven Rambin is an American actor best known for portraying the look-alike twins Ava Benton and Lily Montgomery in the soap-opera All My Children.
